Piwik 0.4.x stable (2009.06.09) and last visitor plugin 0.1. Graphic is not shown, message says that my flash has to be greater then 9.0.0.

Well, my flash is 10,0,22,87. Browser is FireFox 3.5.b4. System is Win7 RC7100

Seems that this plugin checks something wrong (in previous version 0.2.23 it worked perfectly - same browser).

After changing language to english (where it works normal) and back to german it works also with german language. Keywords: plugin,visitor,flash

So, you're saying the graphic is shown when you change your language to English and then back to German?

@robocoder commented on June 9th 2009

Do you have to apply this trick everytime you visit your piwik dashboard,or has the symptom gone away?

@anonymous-piwik-user commented on June 9th 2009

Correct. And it works now all the time - so this issue was only right now after the update (to 0.4.x 20090609 from 0.2.23).

Correction to my last posting.

This plugin does what it wants ... in any language. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

Tried to DISable the plugins and widgets one after one and ENabling them again. No success - sometimes it works, sometimes not.

Do not really knwo what i should try now.

Did you download piwik 0.4 (either latest.zip or piwik-0.4.zip) or update thru svn?

When the Last Visits graph displays that message, are other Flash-based widgets affected as well?

@anonymous-piwik-user commented on June 10th 2009

Downloaded the last official version (latest.zip) from this website on June, 8th 2009, not SVN.

And all other flash-based widgets are shown as they should - that is confusing me a bit.

Can you query your user_dashboard table and attach the results? e.g.,

SELECT * FROM piwik_user_dashboard;
@anonymous-piwik-user commented on June 12th 2009

Here the result:

[[{"uniqueId":"widgetWeekdaygetWeekdayVisitsStatistics","parameters":{"module":"Weekday","action":"getWeekdayVisitsStatistics"}},{"uniqueId":"widgetUserLanguagegetLanguage","parameters":{"module":"UserLanguage","action":"getLanguage"}},{"uniqueId":"widgetForecastgetForecast","parameters":{"module":"Forecast","action":"getForecast"}},{"uniqueId":"widgetVisitorInterestgetNumberOfVisitsPerPage","parameters":{"module":"VisitorInterest","action":"getNumberOfVisitsPerPage"}},{"uniqueId":"widgetActionsgetActions","parameters":{"module":"Actions","action":"getActions"}},{"uniqueId":"widgetVisitorInterestgetNumberOfVisitsPerVisitDuration","parameters":{"module":"VisitorInterest","action":"getNumberOfVisitsPerVisitDuration"}}],[{"uniqueId":"widgetActionsgetOutlinks","parameters":{"module":"Actions","action":"getOutlinks"}},{"uniqueId":"widgetReferersgetKeywords","parameters":{"module":"Referers","action":"getKeywords"}},{"uniqueId":"widgetReferersgetWebsites","parameters":{"module":"Referers","action":"getWebsites"}},{"uniqueId":"widgetUserSettingsgetResolution","parameters":{"module":"UserSettings","action":"getResolution"}},{"uniqueId":"widgetUserSettingsgetBrowser","parameters":{"module":"UserSettings","action":"getBrowser"}},{"uniqueId":"widgetUserSettingsgetBrowserType","parameters":{"module":"UserSettings","action":"getBrowserType"}},{"uniqueId":"widgetVisitsSummarygetEvolutionGraph","parameters":{"module":"VisitsSummary","action":"getEvolutionGraph","columns":["nb_visits"]}}],[{"uniqueId":"widgetReferersgetSearchEngines","parameters":{"module":"Referers","action":"getSearchEngines"}},{"uniqueId":"widgetVisitTimegetVisitInformationPerServerTime","parameters":{"module":"VisitTime","action":"getVisitInformationPerServerTime"}},{"uniqueId":"widgetExampleRssWidgetrssPiwik","parameters":{"module":"ExampleRssWidget","action":"rssPiwik"}},{"uniqueId":"widgetUserCountrygetCountry","parameters":{"module":"UserCountry","action":"getCountry"}},{"uniqueId":"widgetVisitsSummaryindex","parameters":{"module":"VisitsSummary","action":"index"}}]]

What if you remove the third-party plugin widgets (UserLanguage, Forecast, and Weekday) from your dashboard?

@robocoder commented on June 13th 2009

I haven't identified a cause; deferring to resolution of #794

@robocoder commented on June 25th 2009

Please advise if this is still occurring in 0.4.1.

@robocoder commented on June 28th 2009

Updating to swfobject 2.2. Please open a new ticket if the problem persists in 0.4.2.
