Do you experience any issues when using Piwik? Do you get this for all page requests?

I haven't heard of this problem before but might be related that we "abort/cancel" some requests for instance when clicking on another menu item while another is still loading.

HTTP 499

Used in Nginx logs to indicate when the connection has been closed by client while the server is still processing its request, making server unable to send a status code back.[22]
